The Downey Amateur Radio Club (DARC) has been serving the community and supporting Ham Radio since 1951!
We are a ARRL Affiliate Club. We support many community activities such as the ARC Walk, Downey Street Fair, Downey Rose Float Association, Christmas Parade, The Lions Club annual Tour de Sewer and many more.
In addition, we have an active ARRL Volunteer Examiner team which conducts exams every other month (please see VE pages).
If you are looking to join an active club where you will have an opportunity to get out and use your operating skills check us out. We have monthly meetings and 2 weekly nets (please see NETs page).
