ARRL Field Day June 25-26

The annual ARRL Field Day event commences at 11:00 AM on June 25
and wraps up at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 26. Radio amateurs and
clubs throughout North America participate in this premier annual
exercise and public demonstration of our emergency communications
response capabilities.

We invite the general public to visit and experience Amateur
Radio at public Field Day sites throughout our section. Go to
www.arrl.org/Field-Day-Locator to find a Field Day site near you.
Please assure to list your public Field Day site on the ARRL Field
Day locator to be included on our visit itinerary.

Field Day sites may earn 100 bonus points for sending an ARRL
Radiogram Field Day site report from your site to myself KP4MD or
our Section EC Mike Joseph KK6ZGB. You should include the club
name, number of participants, Field Day location, and number of
ARES operators involved with your station. The message must be
transmitted during the Field Day period and a copy of it must be
included in your submission in standard ARRL radiogram or no
credit will be given. The message must leave or enter the Field
Day operation via amateur radio RF. You may send it by checking
into traffic nets such as: California Traffic Net, Golden Bear Net,
NCN/1, NCN/2, or by using the Radiogram templates in FLDigi or
Winlink. Full Field Day Rules at http://www.arrl.org/field-day-rules.
See more information at www.arrlsacvalley.org

Please remember to send your Field Day write ups and photos with
names and credits to me at kp4md@arrl.org for inclusion in our
